Cute A cute and stylish solution for the breakfast table when serving boiled eggs. This basket will keep up to 6 eggs warm – each egg fits into an individual compartment, much like a traditional egg carton. Except that the sides of the compartments are thick and cushion-y which helps with both keep the eggs from breaking and with keeping them from getting cold too quickly. According to the manufacturer, they will stay warm up to 45 minutes. I have not measured the time but would think while they wouldn’t be hot anymore, they would still be a somewhat warm.The look is quite stylish with the stainless steel frame and the good quality cotton liner making for a nice contrast.The liner is removable as well as machine-washable, so not hygienic concerns either.The reason I am not giving it 5 stars is the lid.
