My Ducks are intimidated This is probably the best decision I made in regards to buying this feeder. Before this feeder I had the 5 pound feeder for my ducklings. The little 5 pound feeders were the ones where you had to turn it upside down, unscrew the bottom, then put feed inside it. These ducklings would finish eating the feed in the little feeder in about 1 week. Fast forward 7 weeks, now these ducklings have grown into ducks. That little 5 pound feeder would only last them for a day, sometimes half a day, so I knew I had to buy a bigger feeder. My local Tractor Supply Store’s (TSC is a great store by the way)biggest feeder capacity was only 11 pounds, yeah I know its half the size. When I saw this on Amazon I knew I had to buy it NOW.Really, the first reason why buying this made sense was it was becoming hassle to check on ducks every 6 hours or so. Second reason, the weather is starting to get colder. It hard to go outside when its cold, especially in the mornings. Third reason, the 22 pound…

Thank you, we have had this feeder for a while now, and it is still in perfect condition. Recommended for fowl or other.

I have a couple of this style feeder. It is as good as any regarding feed waste… which means the turkeys still dump out too much but I do like that I can regulate the flow, particularly when you use from the time they are poults to ready for market. I usually use an S-hook and close off one end at the top of the feeder because the hook for hanging is teenytiny and not good when you have several you’re using. I want something fast. Otherwise, a good value AND if you are smart and have a Prime account, the shipping for this was free as opposed to other places where shipping was almost as much as the feeder.
